About me
I am Dr. Israel López Villalva, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER) and the American Association of Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). To achieve this level of specialization, I have dedicated 14 years to my professional training.
My journey began at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG), where I completed my degree as a surgeon in six years, followed by a year of medical internship and a year of social service. Subsequently, I passed the National Examination for Applicants to Medical Residencies and completed two years of training in General Surgery at the Regional General Hospital #17, in Cancún, Quintana Roo.
I continued my training with a subspecialty in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the National Medical Center of the West (CMNO). During this period, I participated in numerous Operation Smile sessions, helping patients with cleft lip and palate and their consequences.
In 2019, I was accepted as a Fellow in body contouring at the prestigious clinic of Dr. Ivo Pitanguy, at the Hospital of the Holy House of Mercy, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a pillar in the field of plastic surgery and creator of the Brazilian Butt Lift. In 2020, I completed another fellowship in high specialty in body contouring at the Innovare Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Giancarlo Talleri de Andrea, in Zapopan, Jalisco.
My commitment is to provide my patients with exceptional results through advanced techniques and a personalized approach. From the initial consultation to the postoperative follow-up, I am dedicated to accompanying each patient on their path to the best version of themselves.
